The Lefkofsky Family Foundation
Formed by Eric and Liz Lefkofsky, the Lefkofsky Family Foundation is a charitable trust that was established in 2006 under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code exclusively for the purpose of supporting charitable, scientific, civic, and educational organizations and causes throughout the world. The trust has a special focus on the well being of women and children in need.
In 1974, Liz Lefkofsky’s then seven-year-old sister, Stephanie Lee Kramer, passed away after being diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. That event was the catalyst that inspired her mother, Susan Kramer, to found the American Brain Tumor Association. The Lefkofsky Family Foundation continues to support many organizations that focus on pediatric medical research to insure the health and safety of children around the world.

American Brain Tumor Association
Founded in 1973 out of a desperate need, the American Brain Tumor Association exists to eliminate brain tumors through research and to meet the needs of brain tumor patients and their families.
