The Lefkofsky Family Foundation
Formed by Eric and Liz Lefkofsky, the Lefkofsky Family Foundation is a charitable trust that was established in 2006 under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code exclusively for the purpose of supporting charitable, scientific, civic, and educational organizations and causes throughout the world. The trust has always had an affinity to organizations that focus on medical research to help sick children in need.
In 1974, Liz Lefkofsky’s then seven-year-old sister, Stephanie Lee Kramer, passed away after being diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. That event was the catalyst that inspired her mother, Susan Kramer, to found the American Brain Tumor Association. The Lefkofsky Family Foundation is dedicated in part to continuing to support organizations that focus on pediatric medical research and the care of children in general.

American Brain Tumor Association
Founded in 1973 out of a desperate need, the American Brain Tumor Association exists to eliminate brain tumors through research and to meet the needs of brain tumor patients and their families.
